Lots and lots of fresh veggie juices and fruit juice will help with the mending, as well as, BF & C inside and out. A comfrey poultice is very good for helping the healing of broken bones. Some Rescue Remedy for the shock would help too. Guest guest
My immediate and first reaction was of course to grab the rescue remedy. Gave him some of that immediately...and off and on when I would see him start the panic feelings. The break is right below his wrist. Do I use the BF & C as a tea for him? How long should I let it steep? He will drink teas but prefers them to be cold...would that be okay? My thinking on that is at least he is getting something out of it! right? lol I do make them fresh and then just add ice to it as he drinks it. Juicing will not be a problem...I can make him juices...he loves them...mostly fruit juices. The break is right below his wrist. He actually cracked both the radius and the ulna. So he did a really good job! lol Thanks for the ideas...and the help. I need a couple of ingredients for the BF & C that I will pick up this morning...and as soon as I find out the best way to make it for him...I'll start that inside of him. He is going to have a nice apple-pear-grape juice this morning to start off his day. If we can't get to the doctor until tomorrow...I guess he will be up to his own devices while I get some work done. At least they didn't try and push any pain pills on him...I'm truly thankful for that! They simply splinted it and said to take Tylenol of course! I for one am glad that I taught my son that those things are not good for him! Now let's see if he will let me put some stuff on his arm before he gets the cast on it. True test of his confidence I guess! Caroline Hi Caroline, Ouch!!!!! Upper arm or lower?
