Guest guest
Welcome Dexter... I know that Cascara when using fresh bark has an emetic or vomit inducing property.. That is why the bark of the tree is removed, cut into small pieces, and dried for one year before being used medicinally. Ipecac== the dried root of a plant called ipecacuanha, which is grown in Brazil is an emetic or an agent that causes vomiting. There are probably some others... but at the moment I cant think of any.. I've been gone most the weekend working on remodeling the kids house and my brain is tired... I'll probably remember more tomorrow. This stuff is second to none. Even Lobelia takes a back seat to Ipecac. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
