Pam,

There's a file called Understanding Porphyrin Tests that will help

you figure things out.

When we received results by email it was only 2 pages

of the report. My husband called and spoke to them in

french, and they are supposedly sending us a receipt

with insurance codes as well as a full report by mail.

Apparently, the results should be more than two

pages, and should contain an interpretive section. If

you did not receive a full report you need to contact

them and request a full copy.

You might check the CK2 list files. I know they had started a

database with results on lots of kids. At one point there was

discussion about how lots of kids with " mild " results were more

severely affect than those whose tests made them look more toxic.

Additionally, there is a paper by a Dr. Rossignol which might be

helpful, though it wasn't for us. FWIW, my kiddo came back

with " mild toxicity " and I doubt if it was right, or perhaps my

concept of " mild toxicity " is different than theirs.

Well, if you get a " toxic " reading (at any level) and had not been

convinced you were dealing with mercury, then it might be the push

needed to get you to chelate. Other than that, I am not sure.
