Guest guest
Hello all,There is a secret to using CoQ10. Most of it requires some type of fat or oil in the stomach to help it digest and enter the body. There are a couple that are water soluble but more expensive. I take it when I'm eating my oatmeal with butter in it. I use the Swanson house brand of CoQ10 in softgel form (100mg) and it's been a very good product for me. You can order online at http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ SkipOn Mon, Feb 21, 2011 at 11:11 AM, Pam Norman <pam_norman@...> wrote: While looking to renew my supply of COQ10 lately, I have some by Dr's Best which is considerably cheaper than most of the others, so I bought it. Guest guest
I want to relate something that recently happened between Swanson's and me.There was a new house brand supplement they came out with (a fermented superfood). I bought a bottle to see what it was like. Well, we didn't get along at all, so I quit using it. A couple of days later I received an email from Swanson asking me to review it on their site. So I told in the review what my reaction was to it (or it to me) and sent it in. I got an email from Swanson's the next day apologizing for the problem I had with it and telling me they would refund my money immediately and not to send back what I had left. I never asked for my money back! The money was refunded two days later. To me, that's going beyond the call to see that a customer is satisfied with their purchase. They have me for life... but they already did! Guest guest
Can you tell when you take it? Most of the time when I take supplements, I can't tell. I just go on faith that for something like CoQ10, I should be taking it. Guest guest
You don't necessarily have to feel anything, and most often won't. Do the lean test on every supplement you take and that will tell you whether your body needs it or not. Kinesiology never fails. Guest guest
Not really, It's an over-time sort of thing, you gradually get better, often people don't bother to pay attention then quit and within a few days the better feeling goes away. Guest guest
What is interesting about muscle testing is that sometimes your body will give you a false reading. For example, if you test for a colon cleanse product, your body may say it doesn't need it - because your body knows it will be going through some uncomfortable cleansing and it doesn't want to do that, so your body will say it doesn't need a cleanse when it really does. A kinesiologist told me that. Does that make sense to any of you folks? Carol > You don't necessarily have to feel anything, and most often won't. Guest guest
That goes to how you ask the questions of the body, Carol, and how well you do the muscle testing. You can take the same question and ask it multiple ways, gauging the reading from each. It's pretty hard to get a real false reading if you do it that way - On 2/22/2011 8:30 AM, algaelady1 wrote: What is interesting about muscle testing is that sometimes your body will give you a false reading. Guest guest
Carol, I wonder what supplement you take for lutein? I have been reserching this for awhile because my husband is having serious problems with macular degeneration. I have him on a multi with 10 mg lutein in it but don't know if it's enough. When I look for lutein supplements they always have other vitamins and minerals with them which would make it too much of these others with the multi. San I don't necessarily agree with that you should feel something or why take it. Because what about eating a salad, or something like that that is good for you - you don't " feel " anything after eating a salad or a sweet potato, etc. but you know it's good for you. I take lutein for eye health - I don't feel anything when I take it, but I'm confident it's the right vitamin for what I am targeting.
