Guest guest
Anne, most people try to get the nutritional status as good as they can first, prior to chelating, then continue to supplement during and after chelation as their child needs it. after chelation alot of people require less supplements than before, as heavy metal toxicity can cause nutritional deficiencies. If you address the metals, you oftentimes will also improve the nutrtitional deficiencies. Guest guest
I take supplement 3x per day. When I am taking chelators I take DMPS at 6 h intervals, DMSA at 4 h intervals, ALA at 3 h intervals. I take supplements before during or after chelators. It doesn't matter because the chelators don't interfere with the supplements. The chelators chelate HEAVY metals. Look at a periodic table to see how heavy mercury is. Nutrients are depleted during chelation because the chelation process uses up nutrients. Many are depleted to begin with because of poor gut absorption and insufficient nutrients in foods. Sure, kids benefit from proper nutrition, but nutrition alone doesn't cure autism when the autism is caused by metal poisoning. When sufficient metals are in the body they have to be removed with chelators because the presence of the poisons interfere with normal excretion, and the dose is higher than what the body can excrete normally (almost no metals will be excreted normally from the brain - if you don't chelate them out you won't get them out). Cilantro should never be used because it is not known how to use it properly and chances are the person using it will backfire mercury to their brain. It is known how to use DMPS, DMSA, and ALA properly, so they are the chelators used. > > DO YOU TAKE THE SUPPLEMNTS LIEK VITAMIN B COMPLEX > > BEFORE THE CHEALTION ? > > DURING THE CHELATON ? > > OR AFTER THE CHELATION ? > > OR ONE TWO RO THREE OF THE ABOVE > > WHICH IS IT > > I'D LIKE TO KNOW # > > not for myself though > > but for the parents of children who have Autism and other > developmental delays; > > Because Chealton causes nutrient depleton; any light on the subject? > > and plx don't tell me to look in the files; says " pop a B complex 3 > or 4 times a day; not enough information; thanks keep keeping on >
Guest guest
Anne, I'd appreciate it if you didn't misquote and disparage the information in the supplement file. From the little I've read of your posts, I'd say the information in that would actually be useful to you if you read it carefully. Even though it clearly states in the supplement file that the information presented there is just a place to start, I know the file has been of great help to many people who are actually here to learn how to help their children, as many of those people have written me to say so. I would hope that you do NOT try to pass on advice regarding chelation to parents of children with ASD. Your knowledge on this subject is inadequate, to say the least, and chelation is a serious undertaking. Because I truly doubt you are going to heed the advice a good number of people here have given you, I will offer some advice instead to any people who are newish to the list. It is important to find reliable advice when you are undertaking biomedical interventions for your child. I would not recommend that you take advice, for example, on chelation from someone who has never chelated themselves or their child, no matter how many posts they clog the list with.
