Hi,

I am planning to buy a family sauna for my boy. But currently I bring him to

swim and after swimming, I bring him to the sauna within the swimming pool. Does

anyone here can tell me that if this is safe to use this sauna for my 8 years

old boy?

Thank you very much for any information,

A few things come to mind, :

Do you have access to the thermostat so you can make sure it's not

too hot? For an 8 year old, you would not want him to first try a

conventional sauna much over 130F.

Is there a thermometer? If you can ascertain the air temp at any

given point, there's usually about a 1 degree per inch drop in temp

as you go down the wall.

Check that there's no mold.

Overriding concern: is the air in and around the sauna relatively

chlorine-free?

Bob.

Hello

i have a similar question, how often should a 28 year old adult use a

sauna pre chelation? A friend of mine has offered to let me join his

local gym which has a sauna and a stream room.

As much as they want. As long as they feel well doing so. People pre

chelation or pre-amalgam removal often don't sweat much and are prone

to heat sensitivity. So if they are the type to get too hot, limit the

amount of time. Always start slow like 5 minutes a few times a week.

See how it goes. Post removal I found the sauna essential to reducing

my symptoms of detox. I am referring to a plain old dry sauna...not

FIR or any other fancies. Make sure they shower off with hot soapy

water and put on clean clothes after.
