Guest guest
what i have been learning these days is that our kids just dont have the toxic burden but also pathogens that thrive on these toxins and these pathogens are actually the reason for most of the symptoms our kids have and its must to address them while chelating thats the way most of the people have got success ..Use natural or prescription antivirals, antibacterials and antifungals too hopefully u will see a change. [ ] non-responders I remember reading somewhere that about 75% of vaccine-injured children are toxic and respond to chelation. If you have a child who has had only minimal response to chelation (we have done over 200 rounds) what else can be done to help? My 11 year-old son is non-verbal and has dyspraxia issues. He has been in an ABA classroom in the public school system. We have done auditory integration therapy, sensory integration, Houston Enzymes, assorted supplements, probiotics, etc. We have seen many small gains over the years, but he remains on the severe end of the autism spectrum. Any suggestions are appreciated. Rainy
Guest guest
Have you done anti-virals? Also, if you've been doing ABA without great results, check out Floortime. We have had great results. Guest guest
Rainy, In addition to all the good suggestions, I think it was suggested to get an EEG to rule our seizures for kids who either don't progress or who progress and then return to baseline, in cycles. Guest guest
Not sure if this has been asked. What sort of nutrition are you giving? Are you juicing? We've got to get bad stuff out (chelation, anti-virals, etc). But we've also also got to put the good stuff in, so the the body has all the building blocks it needs to repair itself. rainy2071 wrote: > > > > > > Have you done anti-virals? > > We have tried Vira-stop, monolauren, and GSE. Guest guest
Rainy, My son's homeopath believes that the kids who are non-responders to homeopathy are struggling with parasites or lyme. According to her this is a very small number, as she has said that only about 5 kids in her practice seem to be non-responders to the clears (my son would be one of these, at least so far.) Guest guest
Sorry, that post wasn't very clear. Lots of the kids my homeopath sees are kids who have been through lots of other interventions (chelation, supping, diet, etc) without a great deal of progress. My son is one of those kids. According to my homeopath they have pretty good success with even these kids (traditionally non-responders). But, they do have kids that don't respond very well to homeopathy too, and of those kids, they suspect lyme and parasites. Perhaps it is the lyme or the parasites preventing progress all along. FWIW, my kid does respond well to HBOT, but we've needed 125 dives to get there, and I'm sure we'll need another 125 more. Guest guest
Rainy, First of all, sorry to hear that he is a non-responder. Regardless, is he still toxic? Suggest determining toxicity via porphyrins test. If he is still toxic, keep chelating. Next, have you tested him for high testosterone? High testosterone prevents progress during chelation. Have you tried visual therapy? The only thing it really did do, was allow my son to tolerate foods and supplements. It was the supplements that caused his recovery. > My 11 year-old son is non-verbal and has dyspraxia issues. Guest guest
Have you looked into genetic testing and Amy Yasko protocol? I heard her speak at Autism One and she sounds absolutely brilliant - her research makes a lot of sense. That would be my next route if chelation, GFCF, DAN!, etc. wasn't working. I've heard it's expensive, but very well worth it. HBOT would also be another good thing to try. Blood tests are horrible for us too, but I would have kept them up had I been worried at all. If you're going to continue chelation, you may want to do so using the AC protocol, as the low, frequent doses rarely seem to be problematic for the liver, etc. > > RE: Yes - showed up metal toxic. > > B12 shots for 11/2 half years but no change good or bad. > > Biggest reaction in the Dan protocol was removing sugar from his diet > and other offenders but it has only took him so far. > > Yeast/bacteria/viral/parasites/metals/loading - I can't tell what is > causing what. > The only behaviours that I could pin point to with diet are giggling > and no sleep but i havn't had those behaviours for over two years now. > We blamed yeast then. For my son, we've seen very, very slow improvements by using cultured foods, addressing the lectin problems (using Lectin Lock and soaked foods), addressing nutritional defiencies with an improved gut, HBOT, continued AC chelation with DMSA and now just LA, viral protocols, addressing oxidative stress, and addressing inflammation. Now, as I've told you, we are using homeopathy on top of all these things Any wows we've ever had have been lost. But, ds is no longer losing ground like he used to and I think it required all of what we've done to get to that place. This journey has been much, much more complex than I thought it would be, and now that I've accepted we need to do many treatments simultaneously and long term, I feel much more confident that ds is going to recover. I hope some of the might help, Anita >
Guest guest
- Hi Anita LOL....you made me smile and i should be tucked up in bed...anyway I have cut and pasted and will debrief myself in the morning. Thank you for your input ... I have a lot to chew on! RE Swearing...the funny thing is it is in total context. I said to him this morning..or yesterday morning 'ok time for school' and he answers F*** sake. or when something drops or his teacher asks him to repeat something...so I guess that is the good bit. He KNOWS it is not appropriate lang as he comes up to me with a few hugs and kiss then eyes balls me and say 'f***' and waits a response which he doesn't get but he goes away giggling anyway...Wasn't so funny on Sunday when he shouted out f***** at the priest from the balcony....!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone else though thought it was hilarious including his 11 year old brother... You know he has been doing stuff a 3 year old would do like dressing up in my clothes and his fathers boots...and swearing can happen around that time too..Maybe he is just going through his troublesome threes...ah well better late than never!!!
