The refined sugars and complex carbohydrates are what mess with your diabetes. The insulin is needed to handle the carbs and processed foods where it is not such an issue with natural fruit sugars. Not the natural fruit sugars. However, some folks out there, medicos and whatnot, would have you believe otherwise. Of course, I am not saying to just jump right in and OD on fresh fruits. LOL But eating some or drinking some will not hurt you. You need to stay away from the processed foods, complex carbs, refined anything and dairy. Regular fruits aren't going to hurt you.
