Guest guest
On the urine essential elements test for my son some of the elements look high, such as calcium, magnesium, sulfur, selenium, strontium, barium, but iron and zirconium below detection limit. We are chelating and supplementing. Should we worry about high ones, and reduce it, and should we supplement with iron? Thank you for all suggestions Natalia
Guest guest
We just had our sons urine elements done also. I dont think you can really look at the urine for essential elements as it could be due to what he ate being low in some things high in others and many other things. Our sons calcium was low but in his blood elements test we recieved those results right after, showed he was very high in calcium. Blood tests are better for true essential elements testing. Then again his blood iron level was good but his ferritin test ( body store of iron ) was anemic. I would suggest getting a blood test and ferritin if you are worried. I almost upped my sons calcium when he is very high in it ... thinking his hair and urine was possibly correct. You can get these tests through direct labs without a Dr. They just send you to a lab [ ] Essential Elements test On the urine essential elements test for my son some of the elements look high, such as calcium, magnesium, sulfur, selenium, strontium, barium, but iron and zirconium below detection limit.
