Especially, if you have been eating cooked foods which most vegetarians eat. Cooked foods are toxic for the human body. Shoot they are toxic for any animals body let alone humans. Sounds to me like you need to discipline yourself more than anything. One rule of thumb is never eat after dark. Doing some more cleansing and maybe even some fasting will help you overcome this too. Feeling hungry when you are full is a mental issue more than a physical one. It is the cooked food thing again. Your body has extremely fond memories of eating cooked foods from day one (almost). Now you need to replace those fond memories with new ones of raw fruits and vegetables. Many people have a really rough time getting over the memories part and some never do. At least right now you are conscious of it and now you can do something about it. :-) Keep on cleansing or do some fasting using water only. You will eradicate those cravings and make yourself a whole lot healthier besides. Peace be with you NG. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. I'd love to read that and hear someone else's testimony on their paths to eating a raw food diet. Peace Natural GameCandace Podratz <momofbrock@...> wrote: Yeah... all this is making me see my bad habits, though. I don't eat enough AT work so I eat at home, sometimes (lately) minutes before going to bed although it's usually beans. Always crave beans late at night. Hmmmmph.I need to come up with an official cutoff time of when I stop eating. Maybe 8pm and only water afterwards. I'd probably sleep better and not be so pudgy. : )I've been getting sooooooooooo hungry lately, like I'm hungry every minute of the day. My stomach is full and I still want to eat more. I have been eating a lot of soup though. Not a whole lot in soup.I'm guessing I just need more nutrients SOOOO instead of diving into the total body cleanse head first I'm going to take baby steps first. My first one.... today I bought a whole buttload of organic fruits and veggies. NO cookable foods (well, I suppose I could cook the veggies if I reeeeeeally wanted to). So all I have in the house is good stuff. I'd have to go out of my way to eat garbage. My first tiny step is getting good stuff in the house and bad stuff OUT. Check! My first big step is breakfast. I will MAKE myself "eat" breakfast because I find I go from not hungry at all to ravenous ready to gnaw my arm off by lunch time. I even get shaky when 5 minutes earlier I wasn't the slightest bit hungry. Then I'm hungry the rest of the day. Anyways, for breakfast EVERY DAY I'm having a TN drink. No excuses. I've found when I drink that for breakfast I just feel like eating better for lunch. And now that all I have in the house is good stuff I have no excuse! And fruits and veggies are so easy to bring to work I have no excuse for eating out of the vending machine (YUCK!)So that's my first baby step: Breakfast. And I've noticed eating good for breakfast inspires me to eat good the rest of the day. I'll wait a couple weeks and then it'll be breakfast and lunch (no excuses) and you get the idea. : )I get so overwhelmed by the idea of doing the total body cleanse and becoming completely raw that I don't even start! There are so many things to do I don't know WHERE to start so I don't. So I'm starting with breakfast. How did you make the transition between crap (pardon my language but it is crap) to raw?In Dr. Schulze's last newsletter he had an article about taking baby steps and he talked about how long it took him to change his diet and that inspired me. I won't try to do everything all at once anymore. Baby steps!Candace----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Quai" <mysticalherbalist@...><health >Sent: Friday, February 04, 2005 2:38 PMSubject: Re: Master Cleanse (coming off of it)Gotta adjust for your particular> time zone I guess. :-\>> -- > Peace, love and light,>> Don "Quai" Eitner>> "Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the > animal and wakes in man."
