Guest guest
I have an Arnica homeopathic, which is not a little round sugar pill. I don't believe that all homeopathic remedies are little round dinky pills. The Arnica I have is made by Herbal Harvest, Inc. Another company distributes it. So far as I know, and have looked around, it doesn't contain sugar. .....my .03 Lynn in CA. > Acidophilus capsules can be found minus the sucrose I believe. Guest guest
Arnica can be used topically as an herb full strength or in homeopathic preparation. Homeopathic prep's of Arnica are safe to take internally, and are usually in a base of sucrose (little pills). My understanding is that you cannot consume Arnica - like in a tea, like you would say mint or lavender. I keep a little tube of Homeopathic Arnica in my purse for emergencies (bumps, bruises, aches & pains, tension headaches even) Hope that helps. Guest guest
Homeopathic remedies are based in either milk sugar or some other form of sugar, but the amount in one pellet is miniscule. That said, that was an incorrect prescribing for a homeopathic remedy. I doubt Arnica was even the appropriate remedy for that situation. But even if it was, you would only take one dose of the correct remedy, say one pellet of a 30C....not enough sugar to do any harm. Arnica is more for shock and trauma to the system....bruising, surgery, falls, etc....than for occasional muscle soreness after working out. I don't have my books here with me, but I think you'd be better off with hot compresses than a homeopathic remedy for that. As for the acidophilus, try drinking kefir or eating plain yogurt. No sugars in either of those and lots of good bacteria. Sharyn From: natural game [mailto:mathmasta1111001@...] to start off.. i went to see an herbalist and she recommended that i take these two herbs.. the Acidophilus, twice a day (2 capsules) and the Arnica twice a day, 3 tablets dissolved under tongue.. Guest guest
I think either kefir or yogurt would fit your diet and needs. They are both raw, neither cooked. Just fermented. Sharyn From: natural game [mailto:mathmasta1111001@...] thanks for the advice.. as far as drinking kefir or eating plain yogurt.. i'm currently on a raw foods diet, .. i'm about a week and a half strong with it.. i'm not familiar with kefir at all.. and what kind of yogurt would fit my diet and needs..???
