Alright Folks....

's back in good health and has decided that since she was nearly

fasting last week, and has eaten almost exclusively vegetables and

fruit for the last 3 or 4 days....that now, is a good time to fast.

I'm going to try a 3 day juice fast over the weekend. That way, I

don't have to worry about going to work etc. Probably friday-sunday

or Saturday-Monday. Either way...i think it's time.

I'd really like some advice on what juices might be helpful during

this time, as well as some next steps after this cleanse...or DURING,

to just really help detox as much as possible. (gearing up for a MC)

i'm going to do it this time. No turning back. :)

love and light and healthy choices,

Anne

I hate to break this to you (LOL) but you have to drink the same juice or juice combo thru out the fast... if it is apple then apple all the way thru, if apple/carrot then apple/carrot combo all the way thru the fast. Coming off the cleanse, eat light and raw... like a salad, etc.. no heavy eating... your body is adjusting.. come back to foods slowly.

Hi Gypsi,

Maybe I can answer this for you if it hasn't already been answered.

Fasting and cleansing are two very distinct and separate animals. When

fasting one should not do anything except rest, period. The reason for

this is because when fasting one is trying to heal and rebuild and that

is difficult enough to do without using up ones reserves being active.

While cleansing is just the opposite to an extent. For a short cleanse

exercising is good as it helps to release toxins. For a long cleanse

exercising coupled with rest is very excellent. One just needs to listen

to ones body though so you are not exercising when your body is trying

to rest.

Peace be with you Gypsi.

Hi Anne,

Good for you!!!! I am glad that you are feeling better too. A good 3 day

juice cleanse will help you a lot. Use either apple, apple/carrot,

carrot or you can also use dark grape juice or citrus juices too. But

they need to be diluted 50/50 with distilled water as they are so potent

in action. Whichever, juice you decide to use, if you get hungry you may

eat the fruit of the juice you are using; but only after you are done

for the day and just a piece of fruit and not a whole bowl full. You

need the vital energy for detoxing not digesting.

Your best bet is going to be to go as much raw as you can tolerate right

now and preferrably 100% raw after you finish cleansing. Then continue

to do cleanses as frequently as you wish. Monthly, every other month,

every three months, etc. You can even do some fasting on water only as

it is extremely beneficial to anyone to do.

Peace be with you Anne.
