Hi Louis, I would like to receive all information about OCD, & not all the

messages. Is this the way I have to tell you about. If I want to try " daily

digest " , how I can do that?

Thanks

Hello Libby. I am Sharon, got Hep c in 1976 during transfusions. I took the

Scherring treatment, but relapsed. I started the Pagasys, but dropped out after

five weeks. Iam now content to wait for the next generation of treatment to be

released.

Youjwill find some very good ppl on this list, and you saw what happened when

someone went over the edge. I like this group and see it as my " job " to offer

support to those who suffer through the treatment. That's just my personality.

Hope to see more of you , Sharon in WA

Hi My name is Libby and I just sent an email trying to unsuscribe

becasue I didn't want all of the e-maiils. daaa! I just went to your

website and noticed that I didn't have to leave this group. I just have

to change my data. I am sorry for that. I do want to remain and I have

enjoyed the humor, honesty and occaional angry person. I like the way

the leaders have handeled the recent situation with anita, I feel that

you will be there when I or my fmaily needs you. I am a nurse that

contracted hep c in 1975 at work. fortunatly I worked in hemodialysis

and they were documenting our blood levels every month. you see in

those days Hep B was the enemy. I have had just about every study

there has been since the beginning and I unfortunatly am not a canidate

for anythiing that is out there. I have hep c, autoimune hepititis, and

NASH. I had a severe reaction to interferon because of the autoimmune

hep. (that is when it was discovered) So I can't go on either meds for

the illnesses and I am in a stable mode at the present. I have early

stage cirrhosis and I am still able to enjoy everything but at a slower

pace. I stopped working 3yrs ago and that was the best thing that I

could have done. so Hello folks and you will be seeing me around.

Hi Sharon, I'm sorry you had to drop out, at least it's better than me because I

can't take it. The funny thing was that until my enzymes became more elevated I

felt good on the interferon. (sign of it not working) I too am content waiting

for something later. I like the way you signed off so I will so the same.

Thanks Annita and Sharon but I had my fair share of trials and also 6 biopsy's.

yuck. One study I was on was too phlebotomize youu until you were anemic. this

wass to lower your iron stors but all it did was make me dizzy. The interfron

made my enzymes jump to 400 count and I found out what it was like to have acute

hepatitis. I don't miss the meds at all.

Well I am glad you did not unsub.

Libby, I am a nurse too, that contacted the disease through my

workplace. As I say stuff happens, *smile*

Would I take back the years I worked in the healthcare system. No

way !! I loved being a nurse. Stick with us Libby, we will be

like glue before long, and you will love us like we love you.
