Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I don't own any raw "cookbooks" but there are just tons of recipes to be found on the net. I have a very packed and cluttered favorites folder..lol As for the groups, I am in a couple. You might want to check out this one as it does have some very nice people in it. Activity goes in spurts of course but if you do talk you will be listened to and responded to. This is just one. There are a bunch but in my opinion this is one that is the least "judgemental" Have a beautiful day Tone 12stepstoraw/ Does anyone here belong to any raw food lists? I am trying to find one or two nice ones that share recipes. I'm very new to raw food, but I'm getting the hang of it. I would like to get a collection of recipes together before I switch completely to raw so that I can have a variety to choose from and not just the same things day after day. I'm looking into getting some raw food cookbooks as well. "raw food cookbook" sounds like an oxy moron doesn't it? lol Any books or any groups any of you could recommend would be a big help for this beginner. Thanks folks. Guest guest
I like " RAW - the Uncook Book " the author looks like a nut, but the recipes are good. I actually got the book long beofre i knew about all the benefits of sprouting , herbals or holistic health I dont belong to any gorups since there are tons of resources on the web and i think there is even a magazine decidcated to raw eating. Also try www..com , they have some pretty good recipes. Sylvia > Does anyone here belong to any raw food lists? I am trying to find one or two nice ones that share recipes. Guest guest
Sylvia, I had that book from the library for a while. A bunch of good recipes but in my opinion, no has too much of a thing with Maple Syrup. I gagged at the thought of alot of those recipes with all that sweetness. There are so many recipes to be found online. I bet I could put together an un-cookbook A couple of other good recipe sites are: www.rawsacremento.net/recipes.htm www.fromsadtoraw.com I have tons in my folder just not sure how updated they are since I tend to go for simple. Personally I cannot stand the thought of eating something composed of a massive amount of nuts though I do on occasion like to make almond milk or my versions of almond butter. All the best Wishing you a glorious day Tone
