Guest guest
Hi Kathy, A provoked test (often referred to as a challenge) is bad idea, dangerous, and not particularly useful...It's a urine test following a single high dose of chelator. The single, high dose of chelator is the problem, with high risk of slamming mercury into the brain. Did the doctor have you give your son anything prior to the test? A DDI (Doctor's Data, Inc) hair elements test with counting rules applied is much safer and useful. You can order one yourself through DLS (Direct Lab Services). They'll give you a discount if you mention this list. S S What is a provoked test? Posted by: " threeofheartsasd " threeofheartsasd@... threeofheartsasd Sun Jun 22, 2008 6:28 am (PDT) My son had high levels of mercury that was determined though a heavy metals urine test. He had a score of 11 with a range of less than 5. What is a provoked test? Someone asked me if his test was provoked. What does that mean? Thank you, Kathy _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!
