Guest guest
Our son is 3 and is doing well in IU Preschool, Speech and OT (out of network..) and we have also reduced Gluten and Casein(Trying to eventually get to a 90% GFCF Diet) but we are running into road blocks getting a Provider 50 for a BSC and TSS. Anyway... We had a TSS and mobile therp but they went to other agencies... Here's our real dilemma, our son pushes his sister and playmates either when stimming or not. He sometimes grabs them by the throat and pushes them down to the ground and smiles. We know he doesn't mean any harm! We have explained this to both his therapists and they are working on it. *No incidents like this occur at his preschool. We have also addressed this in his " plan " at his current Provider 50 but they are short on TSS and BSC..so we have no one currently. I have been calling other providers. I called his case mng at the county level and they have been little help. Also...Our IU is booked in their ABA/V.B program. Guest guest
I've read this three times, but I'm failing to understand the problem or ? here, sorry. My only advice is to make sure he is totally supervised when with other children. I do understand that some children do not realize the consequences of their action, but being put in a choke hold and pushed to the ground is liable to be traumatic for other children. I never heard of a stim that caused a child to put their hands around another child's neck, sorry, if I am misunderstanding this.
