Guest guest
As opposed to some CLOs, Premier actually does do testing that is sufficient to make some judgment about the level of toxins - metals, pesticides, PCBs etc. - in the oil. I got a copy of the test and found that the PCB levels were worryingly high. The best products I could find were (1) Eskimo oil from Sweden (I believe Thorne has it) (2) Nordic Naturals. Dave. PS. Most of the D in CLO is some sort of synthetic - or the oil is not actually CLO. The cod have to be in a part of the ocean that has sufficient UVB for D to be present, but all of those cod have been fished to the brink. What is left is up near the pole. Vitamin D fish oils are some other kind of fish. Posted by: " thedyes " threebabygirsao (DOT) .. Date: Fri Feb 15, 2008 11:47 am ((PST)) Their cod liver oil does not have any soy in it. It also has more vitamin A and D. Just wanted to know if anyone had any opinion on their products? Thanks Sheila
