Guest guest
Viral was one thing I suspected from some of your other info in times past because grandson had also developed dark under the eyes and occasional sniffles w/o other cold-like symptoms or as allergy might present but he takes allergy med every night and has still stuck to the GFCF, except for grabbing. I asked Mom to give GfSeed ex. at least once a day apart from other 'formula' but that wasn't always done. Since he takes 2 kinds of seizure meds, I had thought the g.fruit seed might be reactive (?) but also thought it might kill any one or combo of virals, bacteria, yeast/fungus more than anything else I could think of. I know there's something detrimental working inside his body from the darkening eye circles. I will ask her to switch to OLE on a daily--apart from other supps. He does get a full compliment of vit.,min., and various supps. as he has for years. He does need extra C when something seems to come up/out but since I'm not there to help, it's often not done. From other health programs/sites I've read that everyone should take C to bowel tolerances anyway and that would also eliminate most constipations. Since this type of behavior has been a recurring cycle, it seemed different from a constant -OCD- but didn't know. Had read that OCD can be treated with meds like Paxil, Prozac, etc. that made me think we should ask the neuro about it but would rather not have more meds. So, we'll try the OLE. About Virastop, I think I've looked it up before but wasn't sure about using it..don't recall now, why, but will look at it again. Thanks again. grandma peg

At my house, it worked great on yeast. There is at least one type of bad bacteria that it does not affect, because giving GSE when there is no yeast will cause a nasty bad bacteria overgrowth here. I did not notice it work against viruses. >>From other health programs/sites I've read that > everyone should take C to bowel tolerances anyway and that would also > eliminate most constipations. Vitamin C actually caused constipation here for many months, because it was eliminating viruses and viral die off tends to cause yeast overgrowth, and yeast overgrowth can be constipating. Guest guest
Hi Dana, Are there some links to information about how you tell what you're coping with - I mean how do you know if you're looking at a viral problem as opposed to a bacterial or fungal problem - and how do you know that there is a die-off effect happening rather than an infection? What are the symptoms that you see with the bacterial overgrowth that happens with GSE so that you can say it is bacterial and not caused by the viral die-off? Thanks for your generosity in sharing, Gail. > > Since he takes 2 kinds of seizure meds, I had thought the g.fruit seed > > might be reactive (?) but also thought it might kill any one or combo > > of virals, bacteria, yeast/fungus more than anything else I could > > think of. > > > At my house, it worked great on yeast.
