Guest guest
Hello, My daughter is supposed to start a 10 day clinic at the Marcus Institute and I was given a list of things that she needed among them: Hepatitis C antibody Hepatitis B surface antigen My daughter is 7. I just spoke with our new pediatrician and he said that his shots were new and that they were Thimerosal free. He's leaving a note with his nurse to call me with the brand/manu information so that I can verify. Is there anything else I need to do? TIA
Guest guest
I'd read up about the vaccines. It really isn't just about the thimerosal. There is much more in vaccines that can and does cause issues. Try http://www.nvic.org and http://www.thinktwice.com for more info. You can also go to the CDC website and find ingredients list. Don't have that link handy, but I've been there before to check. They also go through a " why it is safe " spiel for each ingredient. I just paid no attention since I know who really writes their paycheck. . . . imyconsulting wrote: > > Hello, > > My daughter is supposed to start a 10 day clinic at the Marcus > Institute and I was given a list of things that she needed among them: > > Hepatitis C antibody > Hepatitis B surface antigen > > My daughter is 7. > > I just spoke with our new pediatrician and he said that his shots were > new and that they were Thimerosal free. Guest guest
I was just reading something on Hep B vaccines being linked to autoimmune disorders. The journal article concluded by saying they weren't sure whether it was or not, but needed further testing. Bottom line they do not study these vaccines enough before they are available to the public. Guest guest
If she has already had any of the Hep B you can probably just do titers. There are lots of nasty things in vaccines besides the thimerosal. What is she DOING at the Marcus institute she needs these for? These are transmitted by sexual activity or blood contact, e. g. dissecting cadavers, sharing needles with iv drug users. These are 'new,' meaning nobody really knows how dangerous they are. You can be the first on your block to have a horror story. If you are on this list you should already have learned not to believe doctors know what they're talking about when it comes to vaccines. > TIA
Guest guest
Hello, The children at the Marcus Institute all have to get TB and HIV tests and have had HepC and HepB shots to attend the school. I'm pretty sure they are not concerned about sexual activity with the little ones; I believe that they may be concerned with the closeness, if a child gets a cut, etc. I checked my records and my daughter has had the HepB, my daughter had all of her shots before I found out about Autism, Mercury, BioMed, etc. I was told by my Ped that the Surface Antigen was not a shot; that blood is drawn to test for resistance. He knows and respects my concerns; he's not BioMed but because my daughter is so healthy, happy and is improving, he just steps back and let me do my thing. When we discussed the shots, he told me what he knew then broke the package and gave me the label and paper information to research for myself. I think there is information to be gained from both communities.
