Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried LDN on alopecia areata. It is an autoimmune disease. Thanks
Guest guest
I do not have alopecia areata, I have what I call alopecia Humira. I stopped taking Humira for Crohn's 3 weeks before I started taking LDN. Started LDN on 7/11, last dose of Humira on 6/20. My hair started falling (in handfuls) out around 6/14. I am starting to see new growth, my scalp is not showing as much. I had this happen when I was on Asacol before and it seems to be coming back quicker this time. I have been a licensed hairdresser for 29 years, you can imagine the look on a customers face when they sit in my chair! LOL I hope the LDN helps you alopecia. Guest guest
>> > > Has there been any success with alopecia universalis? > Is Vitilago a symptom of candida? > > > Is chronic shingles also something caused by candida overgrowth? > +++Hi Tara. Any and all diseases, health problems, including candida, bacteria and cancer are caused by these 4 things: 1. Lack of proper nutrition and oxygen. 2. Accumulation of toxins, poisons, and waste. 3. Lowered vitality due to stress, shock, injury, emotional upsets, relationship or financial worries and concerns, etc. 4. Nutritional status inherited from your parents upon conception (can be corrected with proper nutrition). In fact the dis-ease processes are exactly the same as the healing processes, with the only difference being that you are now progressing towards health rather than becoming more and more unhealthy. The medical field just takes advantage of the dis-ease process by labelling each and every " sign " (which they decided are individual symptoms or diseases), instead of calling them what they actually are, i.e. signs the body is working hard at maintaining its health in spite of poor nutrition, toxins, etc. That's why " they " vehemently deny the body can heal itself. Therefore, all dis-eases, including candida and cancer can only be cured by building up the immune system, which is done by: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. That's why this program is an overall healing programs that improves anyone's health. > > > Will accupunture with an accupuncturist who understands developing the immune system help with this program? I had gone to one about 10 years ago who did kinesthesiology first by holding the suspected item in a glass jar that was suppressing the immune system, I reacted negative by the muscle reaction so she put the needles where they needed to be, etc. I was free of seasonal allergies for 4 years afterward. She knew that certain vitamins were not being absorbed in my body due to certain foods. I have moved, but maybe there is one with this philosophy in my area. Or do you think it is just a waste of money, and I will heal w/o it on this diet? +++Accupuncture, massages, chiropractic treatments, and many other treatments that do not interfere with " proper nutrients " can be helpful, but not necessary. Also a person can overdo treatments so their body is being overstimulated or overwhelmed. > > As far as the dentist, I should still go for cleanings, right? If I have a cavity, I get it filled? I should just ask them not to do a flouride treatment, I assume? How about x-rays, a no-no I assume? +++Yes x-rays and fluoride are definite no-nos. See this article on how to care for your teeth and gums: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/teeth1.php > > > I read in your articles to wear socks to bed, but my feet are extremely warm and I can't sleep with socks on? What do you suggest? +++Of course you wouldn't wear sock if your feet are warm. But most candida sufferers have low thyroid and cold feet and hands. > > > Can I start all of the supplements at once, just in super low dosages? I was confused last night and took them all, b/c they had just been delivered. I guess I messed up. If I should only take a select few at a time, which ones? I have been reading your articles every day since Monday, but I can't read fast enough, to search all of the articles with these questions. +++You can start on half the dose recommended for a whole day and increase them 2-3 days later, and take them with complete meals since all nutrients work together. But always start with 1,000 mg or less of vitamin C per day and gradually increase it to 4,000 mg per day to avoid getting loose stools. Otherwise, don't be overly cautious about starting on supplements. +++Here's the handy list of supplements with doses, etc.: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp7.php > > > Someone mentioned an oil to rub for pain. Which one is it? Or what is the recipe if it is a combo of some oils? +++That depends upon where you have the pain and why you have the pain. What do you want to treat? Guest guest
> > Has anyone had success regaining hair growth, after complete hair loss, when on this diet? +++Hi Tara. I haven't known anyone who is doig my program who have totally lose their hair. People who lose all of their hair are usually being treated for cancer. However, many people on this group have had hair loss, and if you search our Success Stories you'll see that some have reported their hair stopped falling out like this one: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss1a.php I had tremendous hair loss when I had candida, and it came back in after curing my candida. I don't really know. Dr. Mercola may be healthy now, but he wasn't all of his life. I didn't see any bald people in Dr. Price's book either. That's a very interesting observation, so the " nutritional status " of parents upon conception that Dr. Price discusses could be the key. Guest guest
What is the name of Dr. price's book? Is it worthwhile to purchase it, or is the information on your website all that I need? ________________________________ From: Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> Sent: Tue, January 19, 2010 8:06:32 AM Subject: [ ] Re: alopecia > > Speaking of hair loss, is baldness ever an occurrence in perfectly healthy people?
