A natural raw diet will go a long way towards (1) keeping his teeth clean and his breath fresh and (2) ensuring his long-lived good health. (As will no more vaccines....he's most certainly had more than his share already!)

Give him big meaty bones to chew on....the bigger the better, with lots and lots of meat on them. That'll clean his teeth, give him wonderful nutrition, and also be good exercise for him.

thanks for the advice,

i got him 1.1/2 months ago and i am trying to fix him up little

beter. he was doing ok, but now i am buying better foods for him

and bones, exercise him 3 times per day. just bought a new bone for

him and he was very happy with it, busy all night and day, a

perfect remedy for bordom and good for his teeth, appetite booster.

he is having a good life ahead of him. i heard that bad breath on

greyhounds is a thing they all seem to have........ not sure about

that. i will keep feeding him fresh meaty bones. i run him every

day and he is looking happy and healthy. greyhounds are sweet dogs!

he probably had a *not so good* life in the past as a runner, but

now i got him and spoil him with goodness. i'm getting pretty

healthy myself running that much!!! (O: i love it. thanks, rik
