Guest guest
go for it! most of my mock anything recipes call for nuts. I do not use peanuts. Haven't eaten a peanut in 19 years. I would use the brazil nuts, but remember they are probably a bit more moist than the peanuts. You may have to adjust the water or other liquid in the recipe. If you want to send me the recipe I can give it a quick scan and see if I can help. Shari - owner Food of Paradise

I think it would be quite OK to use brazils or walnuts. Not sure what hazelnuts are like. Lots of loaf type things do use those 2 though. Persian I never use peanuts in recipes anyway. Guest guest
This reminds me of a neat idea for children. Take a small size melon baller and just about any veggie and make pea-sized balls. My kids love anything round lol. Different sizes make different textures and I think that is what appeals to the appetite as well. I think maybe so, but not ever seeing a spirooli or its product I'm not entirely sure. My tool makes angel hair pasta out of vegetables. No need to cook, just eat raw or use with a sauce. Guest guest
Here's a quick and easy salad for dinner that looks good and tastes excellent and you probably have all the ingredients right there: Hello Shari, I made your salad for the church dinner today. I did add some shredded zuccini. The ones who tatsed it said it was good. I know that I will make it again. I also made an Avocado Veggie Loaf. My husband likes it and those who tried it said it was good. I think I need to experiment with it more, it was good but needed something. I also made a banana salad and put a nut type cream over them, in place of my usual salad dressing. Thank you for the recipe and may you have a blessed day. Margaret in IL mwrjmoore@...
