Guest guest
Dear group Let me introduce myself: My name is Karim Cherif and I am from the Netherlands. I am not married, I do not have any kids and I am not autistic. So what is my link with this topic? I went to the film academy last summer for a special program on Documentary Film making. In seven weeks I had to research a topic and create an eight-minute short documentary. After researching different things I stumbled upon the autism/mercury topic. You cannot imagine how shocked I was. Initially I thought I misread the statistics. The more I researched and talked to people, the bigger the story became. After pitching the idea, I knew I had to make a decision. To tell the whole story of Autism/Mercury would simply be too complex for the amount of time that I had to create my movie. So I basically decided to tell the story of Baxter, and how he recovered from his autism. My goal was on one side to tell the world what is going on, and on the other side I wanted to let people know that there is hope. Anyways… I have put the film online, and I truly hope that you will enjoy it. It is a difficult subject matter. Let me know what you think of it. The direct link to the movie is (it might take a couple of seconds for it to start playing): http://www.wakingupbaxter.com/watch_now.htm <http://www.wakingupbaxter.com/watch_now.htm> Kind regards, Karim
Guest guest
Karim, Your documentary is very well done, and very touching. I think that you captured the important points in the few minutes that you had available. Thank you for what you have done to raise awareness of the autism epidemic. I cried while watching and haven't been able to get the tears to stop flowing yet. (I am mercury poisoned myself and am fortunate that both of my kids are not autistic). The links that I would suggest adding to your web site are: support group: / Hall Cutler's guide to mercury and metal poisoning chelation: http://www.noamalgam.com/ and his guide to hair test interpretation: http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html If you want to read excerpts from his books they can be found here: http://books.google.com/books?id=ZG9glNfif5YC & dq=amalgam+illness & pg=PP1 & ots=15u5\ QzTqS0 & sig=nbgrQ15gJj0pRQPYOiOTOReo3kI & hl=en & prev=http://www.google.com/search http://books.google.com/books?id=U765adeBPlEC & pg=PP1 & dq=Hair+Test+Interpretation\ & sig=3gUl0BYfnWoo-8m30AetodDOFk0 and there is an interview with Andy Cutler specifically about autism in the archives (date 01/10/06) here: http://www.autismone.org/radio/default.cfm?archive=698 & bg= & FromA1 The reason I suggest adding all of these is because Andy's chelation protocol is the safest and most effective and I don't want kids to get hurt further by inappropriate chelation. Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for your kind words. Before starting the project I knew nothing on this topic. It was a challenge to get it right - because it is such a sensitive issue. I am glad about the response that I'm getting. And I do believe that something must be done... It would be great if I could make a series of stories like these. Because every story is different, and each child is different. Thank you for the links, I will be updating the site soon. Guest guest
Karim, I can't begin to tell you how much I thought of your short documentary. I cried, and for a mom dealing with autism on a daily basis, tears don't come that easy anymore. Not only do I think you did a beautiful job visually, but you really showed Baxter as he is....a survivor. Sometimes I believe we are called to things without even knowing it. Your interest in the thermisol-autism link may have been accidental, but I believe you were guided to it. If I could only describe to you the feeling when a parent walks out of a doctor's office with an autism diagnosis for a child! I was told my son would probably never talk, there was nothing I could do, he would have a lifetime of problems, and medication/institutionalization was what his future held. No one was there to tell me that this was not true. I was guided to these groups, TACA, and the Generation Rescue web site. Imagine how it feels to hear there is something you can do to reverse such a grim future for your child! I now am on a long journey to heal my son, but my heart no longer hurts all the time and I have a renewed fath in God and in other people. You are now a part of this. Somewhere in this world, a parent who has just been told there child is autistic and hopeless will see your film and discover the truth! Somewhere a child will be on the road to recovery because their parents were inspired by what you created, and that is a great gift from a person who isn't even affected personally by autism. Be prepared for the backash.....this issue can divide people very quicky. But, also be prepared for alot of messages like this one, thanking you for caring and making such a beautiful film. > > > > > > > Dear group > > > > Let me introduce myself: > > My name is Karim Cherif and I am from the Netherlands.
