Guest guest
Hi , As one who raises goats, drinks goat milk, makes goat cheese and keeps all 1st colostrum frozen for future emergencies, you have no idea what you are missing. I tried store bought cow's milk and goat's milk side by side and the first was bitter and the goat's milk was sweet. Otherwise, you would not notice any difference but if you did, there is something wrong with the diet, handling or the animal. Never try the canned goat's milk or you will never forget it! Guest guest
I agree. We are getting milk from our first goat now, and it is wonderful. Sweet and creamy with no hormones or other yucky stuff that the store milk has. And I know that the animal our milk comes from is well cared for and happy. She is like a pet and does not mind sharing her milk with us at all. We drink it raw - just filter it. I have never been able to drink milk before -- it made me very mucosy and not feel well at all. I have no problem with the goat's milk, actually I think it has been beneficial where my allergies are concerned. Guest guest
How is goat's milk different from cow's milk? If someone were to own their own cow wouldn't that be better than the milk in the stores too? Is one dairy and the other not? If so, how? I ask this because in another year or two we want to move to the country and I was thinking of getting a goat and maybe a few other animals.
