Guest guest
a dust mask will help... any hardware store would carry them... also lobelia and mullein are good for breathing problems. This is really bad for my breathing (before finding out about herbs and nutrition I was on two different inhalers for asthma plus antihistamines, now no meds) and my chest is awful tight and wheezy. Anyone have suggestions on what I can do to get me through getting the cleaning done without being totally miserable? I only have this kind of trouble when there's an awful lot of dust or I'm around cats. Thanks, Jenn in Oz

Everything that everyone else has suggested plus as soon as you you finish for the day before stepping into the shower, do the neti pot. If you had an open wound you'd clean it. Do as much for your nose after exposing it to dust. Penel
Guest guest
Hi Jenn I used to have to resort to inhalers before herbs too. With this last cold i have had i have had some serious tightness in my chest and constant coughing which i recognize from the old days. I have been putting Deep tissue repair oil on my back and ribs at night to help " heat things up a bit " and it makes things not to so tight. Also if you have access to a nebulizer, i have been nebbing Colloidal silver and also a very weak tea of Mullien and Ephedra (ultra caution if you have not used ephedra before) The neb treatment was good and i coughed alot during and right after the treatment, but then was clear for a few hours after. Also even though the ephedra opened things up, i did not get the massive shakes like when i used to neb Albutorol (sp?)
