Guest guest
I was wondering if there was any input on this one. I am looking at two strong probiotic products for my son. Was wondering what peoples thoughts were on them. The two in question was threelac and vsl#3. They are both fairly expensive...but we have used CP1 in the past....was wondering how these two compare with it? Have heard lots of hype...but would like to hear some real life views on them from folks who have used em. We tried threelac once but had trouble....was told we started too high. Started at a pack a day and on day 3 my son was psychotic and seeing and hearing things and having panic attacks. This is the kiddo who takes Candaclear and also takes at a different time 5 candex. He can also take 4 CP1 + 4 culturelle with no problems????!!!! The only thing I can come up with is maybe a different strain of yeast is being attacked or it is the FOS. Any thoughts on this? Thanks Ronni

I think those specific probiotics contain variations of strep bacteria. For some kids, especially those who tend towards " bad strep " , giving " good strep " causes problems. Guest guest
I heard that there is diary in the Threelac. It may be a problem. Guest guest
I think I found my answer....one of the 3 strains is a strep base and that has been a biggie for my kids...the other two are gram positive strains. Not sure if this is the answer but makes a lot of sense to me. Ronni > > > I was wondering if there was any input on this one. I am looking at > > two strong probiotic products for my son.
