Guest guest
We have two affected children and are presently involved in long term treatment in Austin, TX. Each time we go (a week at a time), it costs $1750 in medical costs, about $900 for the hotel, and $225 for the car. We've been trying to help our kids for over a decade and we finally found something that may just help them. Unfortunately, over the years, we've nearly exhausted our savings, paying for treatments that just didn't work. Here's what I have done to save money: -I use Miracle Flights for free airline tickets. -I use Priceline to bargin for the best rental car rate. -I'm currently investigating renting an apartment, with another family, so I can cut my housing costs nearly in half. In the past, I've had to use a suite hotel (with a kitchen) because of the GFCF diet. -The clinic we go to is generously only charging for one of my two kids. -I'm filing with Blue Cross but the best I can hope for is a repayment of about 42%, after I meet my $1000 deductible. Anything you can suggest that I haven't thought of I would be most grateful; assistance with housing, rental cars, GFCF shopping, medical bills. I would hate to think my children would not be recovered because of money. Thank you! Bruce
