Guest guest
Does anyone have any reliable independent research to confirm that crospovidone is safe for ingestion? Crospovidone can be found in some supplement tablets. e.g. some Kirkman products, which a lot of you would use. I asked Kirkman about its inclusion in some of their products, but their response was not very helpful. A chemist from Kirkman stated " It is approved and recognized as perfectly safe as an oral excipient. " But approved by who? Recognized by who? Afterall, vaccines are approved and recognized as perfectly safe by some people, but there are a lot of other people that don't agree with that. I came across this research which got me worried: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12692192 <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12692192> Now this research concerns intravenous injection, but it still makes me worry when it includes statements like: " Intrapulmonary crospovidone was associated with inflammatory cells and exhibited degenerative changes. " " We conclude that crospovidone contributes to plumonary vascular injury in some persons who illicitly inject pharmaceutical tablets.
