Guest guest
My 5yo had an abnormal thyroid screen when he was a newborn, but the followup screen was normal. I had some problems with my thyroid, but my labs have mostly been in normal range. When I put him to sleep and go in later, he is sweating. I'll take all of his covers off and he usually cools down. He tells me that he is hot sometimes and on occasion wants to sleep with an ice pack. I probably shouldn't, but I will let him until he goes to sleep and then take it away. Friday, he came to me, and he was sweating on his head and under his armpits. It was enough sweat that it felt cold. He had been playing a video game and had not been running around. Anyone have an idea if this could be something other than thyroid? I am taking him to see the DAN this afternoon and want to cover all bases that could be causing this. Thanks.
