My son will be 22 tomorrow. LDN has relieved 90% of the bleeding he has with Crohn's, improved his digestion and absorption, and Helped him feel less tired and achy most of the month with his Lyme Disease. That's the good news :) But the bad news is, a full moon comes once a month, and every single month, Lyme disease comes with it, birthday or not. Wednesday woke up singing. He was on the computer all day making up funny songs to go with the jibjab.com campaigning video that was such a sensation on Leno Tuesday night. Early Thursday morning, the "moonbugs" came calling-again. Even the specially made gel mattress pad I just put on his bed was not much help with the pain. He spent half of the night in the bathroom. His brain was so tired that speaking was a chore. By this morning, his left

upper arm looked like something from a enstein movie, as the lyme made the muscles in that arm feel like they were made out of beef jerky. So he was not all that enthusiastic about a trip to Wal-Mart this afternoon. Nonetheless, if his birthday plans are to go off without a hitch, it had to be done, so he picked out the things I asked him to choose from, then sat on a bench while I took the items to the car and walked back. There he sat, on the bench, looking like he had been beat up by some bully. Yet, I returned to find him carrying on an animated conversation with a nice older couple. He was telling them very sincerely that their daughter's chronic fibromyalgia might really be Lyme Disease, explaining basic detox tools, and explaining HBOT and LDN to them, all the while trying to be careful not to overload them with information. This was truly advice given freely from someone

who, knowing pain intimately, had no desire for another human being to endure it.

I do not know why people suffer in this world. That is a question only God can answer.

But I do know, watching this young man who has been through so much reach out to help a stranger, that suffering can sometimes produce awesome human beings.
