Hi Lorene,

Thanks for the reply, the test for urine neuro-transmitters - I had

read about people using a few times on posts on ck2.

If this is true (AND I'M SURE YOU'RE RIGHT) then it maybe worth you

posting this on ck2 board as some people there are using these tests

and related follow-up for their kids.

I'm sure you know how little money/time people with autistic kids

have and hence wasting it on something that is a non-starter hurts.

Keep transmitting,

Mark

Hi Mark,

I will send the list a doc on serotonin that will substantiate what I

have said and you are welcome to share it with ck2 (I am not active

on that list, too many groups to keep up with!). So bear with me and

watch this place.

Yes, according to the literature with the test kit you list any medicine being

taken so they can account for it in the testing.

Very interesting information! I was just wondering if this urine test

can be

done if the child is currently on an SSRI such as Prozac??

Is it a

urine test?

It's a urine test, and since you don't pee your brains out, the results are

fairly irrelevant.

People who pay attention to behavior and select amino acids on that basis do far

better

than those who squander money on such tests and follow the results.
