Guest guest
Has this person been diagnosed by an MD? The reason I ask is I had a friend who self medicated for 6 months what she thought was internal hemorrhoids. It turned out what she actually had was colon cancer. If this person was told in the past that he has internal hemorrhoids but hasn't been recently checked out by an MD, please encourage him to do so. Cancer or not, in the mean time run a search engine on Dr. Johanna Budwig. Her nutritional suggestions seem to be focused on cancer therapy but they make regular health sense to me. I've adjusted her flax oil/ cottage cheese dietary suggestions to something that addresses my own personal need for fiber and intolerance of cow's milk. Where Budwig suggests 1 Tbs of flax oil per 100 lb. of person, I use 3 Tbs. of flax seed that I grind fresh in a small coffee mill each morning (which provides 1Tbs. oil and a lot of fiber). Where Budwig's followers suggest mixing it with cottage cheese (a protein containing atoms of sulfur), I mix it with goat's milk yogurt (and a tad of maple syrup with a drop of vanilla extract;-) This I eat on toasted sprouted grain bread every morning. Even if everything Budwig's theory is all wrong, I'm still getting a good dose of fiber using fresh ground flax seed. If you use the ground flax seed with yogurt un flavored or use the traditional cottage cheese, try mixing up garlic into the blend and serve it as a raw veg. dip. Guest guest
If it is confirmed to be hemmoroids and not something else entirely, cayenne should be added to his diet to help nourish the vascular walls and prevent more from forming. Keep him eating well and daily exercise is essential as well.
