Thanks, !  Can I also do it with out outside help of special ed teachers

and therapists?  I want to homeschool.  Just need to know the best curriculum

and best way to go about working with them.

My time would be much better spent working with them than hassling with

insurance company and medical center billing office on where the mistake has

been made that is keeping insurance company from covering several therapy visits

that should be covered.

I am writing everything we do on our blog, in hopes of helping others.

You can do this without a DAN!.

for some time now. We finally consulted a wonderful DAN in December

and have seen some good stuff through prescription antifungal and MB12

shots. We did agree to do DMSA suppositories a try. The problem is,

I know the AC protocol is much safer and the stupid suppositories do

not dissolve many times anyway. Just come back out in pieces in the BM.

outrageously expensive and we haven't even touched the tip of the

iceburg with testing we could do. After paying over $600 recently for

one blood test (not counting all the other tests we have had run and

paid out of pocket) it is just getting to be way too expensive.

where we went (they charge $219 per 45 minutes of speech, OT, or

physical therapy) trying to charge us for visit that should be covered

by our insurance. We have pulled our boys out of therapy (they only

get 20 visits per year anyway) until the insurance mixups can be

fixed. The company that did their ABA shut down in this area and that

was getting outrageously expensive.

no DAN doctors? If I can effectively work with my boys (homeschool)

myself and chelate them using AC protocol, then I can save SOOOO much

time dealing with the insurance company and other hospital billing

offices and we can save money.

struggle with is they are nonverbal and have poor attention/focus, but

are sweet natured and very happy.
