Guest guest
My son (8yo, asperger's, chelating w/ AC protocol for over a year...) has been getting white lips after eating certain foods lately. I think that it might be vinegar that is doing it?? He likes hot sauce and salt and vinegar potato chips and whenever he eats either of those things his lips lose all color. Does this mean anything? We have been on and off of so many supplements over the past few years, I always wonder if something new means that he's deficient in something. Not seeing any *new* behaviors, but some are more prevalent lately, namely anxiety and frustration about doing anything that anybody asks him to do. I don't know if that has a formal name, but we battle that one off and on. If anybody has seen this before please let me know. Thanks, Blaire
Guest guest
In the past years I have been trying to find out what caused this in me. But I found that I had a lot of food sensitivities that seemed to cause me constipation and also spasms. When the symptom first started, I didn't feel any other symptoms. Sometimes I noticed the color in my fingernails faded too. Years down the road I found a connection with my constipation with wheat, preservatives and additives and soy and citrus. They all seem to cause the same symptoms in me and it was awful trying to figure out what it was. The lack of color in my lips continued and then stopped but I don't know what I stopped eating to connect it with. Since I had it for such a long time I got to ignore it but felt self conscious. So during the time I found the solution I was having chest pains that was spasms from eating these foods. The constipation and spasms got so bad that I needed medication to relieve the spasms. So my guess is that these food sensitivities can cause restriction in your blood vessels, resulting in lack of pink (blood flow). I also had yeast overgrowth and found no improvement in the color of my lips by the treatment I got for my yeast. I was dumbfounded for a long time. One very bad culprit in my foods, drinks and condiments is a preservative called sodium benzoate. This just makes me very ill. Check into that. Liz D. Guest guest
Wow LIz. That sodium benzoate was the poison that I saw being the most destructive for my duaghter at the beginning of all of this. She had a flavored water with this poison in it, and she started to run around the theater pulling everyones hair! It was scarey. Glad you discovered this.
