Guest guest
Ok we went ahead and did a urine elements test 2 days after finishing a round. My son's mercury level was almost undetectable on hair test (.03 ) He did meet rules. In this urine test his mercury showed at 2.9 which is within reference range but close to elevated ( yellow ). I am assuming this should confirm our suspisions ( although we were pretty confident )that he is mercury toxic. Being 2 days after a round would make his mercury level even lower than when on an actual round I am assuming? We also did not do the 24 hr we just did a spot test. Any input appreciated. Guest guest
Urine tests are not useful for many reasons. Meeting the counting rules on a DDI hair test means that his mineral transport is deranged which means that he IS mercury poisoned. Side effects with chelation confirm toxicity. (even if he doesn't get them at low doses of chelators he will get them as the dose is increased) J > > Ok we went ahead and did a urine elements test 2 days after finishing a > round. My son's mercury level was almost undetectable on hair test (.03 ) > He did meet rules. Guest guest
Tells me he's got mercury in there that isn't coming out on its own and that it needs to come out. Guest guest
Thanks thats what I was thinking although I know Andy doesn't feel urine tests are good. I do know not to pay attention to the essential elements. Just thinking if mercury didnt really show up on his hair test and now it is in his urine, would indicate its in there and the DMSA/ALA is working. I also understand sometimes mercury wont show in urine as it comes out a bit random. Thanks for input : ) [ ] Re: urine test Tells me he's got mercury in there that isn't coming out on its own and that it needs to come out.
