Damage of this type takes a long time to heal. Cartilage is one of the slowest healing tissues in the human body, mainly because it does not have its own blood supply. Yes, I agree with you Rik. It is going to take time. Keep doing hot/cold therapy with it several times a day. Keep gently stretching, and I do mean gently, daily keeping it iced and heated, etc. Baby that knee. In due time, its own time not yours, it will be healed and you will be able to be more flexible with it. Do lots of juicing too. Get those nutrients there quick like to help build. Be easy with it and don't try overdoing it or you will end up on the table again. It could take a year it could take three years, but if you want to have a healthy knee then take it easy with it now and baby it and gently work it back to health. Peace be with you Rik. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Do not job on a hard surface either. Job in grass or dirt or sand or snow or something. Stay off sidewalks and the pavement. They are really hard on joints. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. I can't meditate in the lotus position either. I can sit cross legged though. Well keep one leg stretched out then. But yes, baby steps. Keep slowly working that knee. Have you considered maybe doing some light weight lifting with that leg? That will help too. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
