Saw the strangest thing. Today I took the original batteries out of a

child's toy. They were regular old AA's but a brand I had never seen before

called

" King Ring " . On the side it said " Mercury Free " . Does this mean regular

batteries have MERCURY????

oh, yes. There are a few brands that are mercury free, but the rest have it in

them. Worst part for me is that my son will try to put batteries in his mouth!
