Guest guest
Hi everyone, We have done 7 rounds of chelation with our son. The first 5 with just DMSA and the last 2 rounds with DMSA / ALA. I started my son on 3.5 mg of DMSA then increased to 5 and for the last 3 rounds he has been at 8 mgs. He has done well with tolerating both DMSA and ALA. He is however very yeasty now. We have not seen any gains yet. I don't know if its too soon to see any positives? I have a friend who saw gains on the 2nd round..... I have also read of parents seeing gains right away. My son will be 3 yrs old in a couple of months and I was hoping to get him a little bit better before he starts preschool. He is non-verbal. My greatest fear is sending him to school when he can't tell me what is happening to him. Is it to soon for us to see gains? His father keeps asking me if I know what I am doing. He of course wants to do the IV chelation challenge test that our DAN has recommended but I totally refuse to do it. I am just trying to stay positive and on track even though I wonder sometimes if it will ever work for my son. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
