What is considered a round?

Hi All

We have just completed 27 rounds of chelation on my 5 year old son. I

have increased the dose to 50mg DMSA/ALA in the last 4 rounds. My son

weighs 45 pounds and is tolerating this dose quite well. He attends

school so we started dosing at 4pm on Friday and finish on Monday

before he goes to school. I know this is considered a round but could I

dose every 2 hours during the day and 3 at night to ensure he gets 24

doses before bed on a Sunday night so we could all get some much needed

sleep? Would this be considered a round or do I continue to wake him

through the night on Sunday? Last weekend we forgot to give him his

dose before bed, it was too late for ALA but still within 4 hours for

the DMSA so we just gave him a dose of that and let him sleep through

Sunday night. He had such a good day at school on Monday - not tired or

teary and continued on to have a great week. So I'm tempted to try that

again and see what happens but I don't want to miss out on a full round

for the sake of an extra night of sleep. Any advice would be great!

Thank you.

Donna.
