Vitamins/Antioxidants Order from US for AUSTRALIA

G'day,

I am about to order my next lot of antioxidants etc from iherb.com in

the USA, something I do about twice per year. If anyone else IN

AUSTRALIA wants anything from there that is either a) unobtainable here

eg. DLPA or significantly cheaper from the US, please go to

www.iherb.com and work out exactly what you want, then email me directly

(covo at melbpc.org.au for those who read direct from ) and tell me

what you want. Please note I will not order anything that is prohibited

in Australia eg DHEA as have already been rapped over the knuckles for

that! :-)

Cost - add up the total for what you want from iherb.com in $US then:

a) Convert to $A. Note that the credit card conversion rate is always

lower than the official $US to $A conversion rate. Therefore, work on

it being 2c lower than the official rate (also covers some of the

interest I will be charged if I can't afford to pay off my card in full

when the time comes).

Add shipping via air freight from US to Australia. That can be

fairly expensive and generally works out around $US2 per

bottle/container for smaller ones and $US3 or more for the larger ones

eg. the Jarrow Formulas NAC. However, the more we get the cheaper each

item becomes proportionally so it may be a little cheaper than that.

c) Add shipping from me to you. Depending on how much you order it

could cost me anywhere from about $A6 to $A20 to buy something to pack

your order in and send it from me in to you elsewhere in Australia.

There are a number of people on these lists for whom I have done this

before and am offering it to anyone wanting to take advantage of it

while I order my own in order to keep their shipping costs down for

small orders (from memory iHerb's minimum shipping to Australia is

around $US40 even for small orders - very cost ineffective!).

I will be ordering around July 1 because we are going away for almost a

week on July 5. They should hopefully almost be here waiting for me

when we get back, ready to send on to those who want something. Note

that in order to save on iHerb's DHL courier charges to Australia (and

possible customs charges) I have iHerb send them to a friend in America

who then sends them on to me (insured) with United States Postal Service

(www.usps.com). I have been using iHerb for my antioxidants for

probably 7 years now and never had a problem with them.

Once I know what a person wants I will calculate myself what I believe

it will cost to order them, get them sent to me and then send them on to

them. If they are happy with the amount I calculate (using a, b, c

above) then they can direct deposit the money to my account BEFORE I

will order and I will then order what they want along with everyone

else's. Money will have to be deposited by about June 28 if you are not

with the Commonwealth Bank like me. If you are with the Commonwealth

then it normally only takes an hour or two to come through if done online.

I am more than happy to do it using the guidelines above, but

particularly for the people on the low dose naltrexone list who don't know

me as well as on Ozpals where I am a moderator, if you are worried about

me not delivering then don't do it - it's as simple as that. No skin

off my nose. :-)
