Guest guest
Kit, Does Fibro usually go hand in hand with CFS? I was slapped with the "diagnosis" of CFS many years ago only because I think they were just dumbfounded and could not think of anything else because I was just never ever well. Also, would you know anything about extremely tender, burning skin? I get that every now and then mainly on either my upper thighs (though sometimes other places) or my abs and for me to say something hurts then it hurts. The stabbing pain is so bad that even a cotton sheet grazing my skin is almost unbearable. Just wondering as I have searched around so long on this. But it is not constant so I am grateful. Just figured I was ODD Toni
Guest guest
Kit, I was thinking about that before myself to try to take note when it happens as I have not. It usually lasts for a couple of days when it occurs but it is such a horrendous kind of pain, it actually does interfere with everything else. I apply lots of cold towels and that in itself is painful. Not much else to add except that these have been going on for years but again, thankfully they are not constant. I got lots more...lol not all at once though as then I would sound kinda like a hypochondriac which I am soooo not Thanks Kit I think I need to kick my two worse habits and go live in a cave for a while and all will be okay Tone Have you paid attention to what triggers it? Allergies? Anxiety? Alotof times my symptoms get worse around my period. There is alot ofsensitivity involved ...the neurotransmitter thing.... Many timeslight and sound ...and smell... will be heightened/annoying/painful
Guest guest
I'm not Kit, but I have fibro as well as multiplesclerosis. Occasionally my legs will feel like theskin has just been taken off, kind of burning to anextreme. Nothing seems to help with that. But I have just discovered that avoiding wheat hascut the pain down to minimal as well as certain herbteas. Hi Janelle, I'm sorry to hear that you are going through so much. I really don't think I consume much wheat then again I really do not pay much attention to my diet. Maybe I should start. I am not a big tea drinker but I think switching over and ditching my coffee could only do me some good though the thought of mustering through a morning without it just does not sound possible. But I am one willing to try anything if it will help. Nice to meet you by the way and thankyou for your input and advice. Be well, Toni
