Guest guest
I am one of the odd ones......I have all 18 tender points and today every one of them is acting up and the meds just are not working. I have spent most of the day in tears because my face doesn't usually hurt as bad as my neck and back but I feel like I have been in a bar brawl. Thissal, (love your name BTW!)The tender points test is generally the accepted test plus symptoms. But it's good to rule out SLE (Lupus) as well. I tested positive for Lupus but do not have an official diagnosis. I intend to reverse the test results because I know it is possible, even if Western Med. doesn't. I know two fellow students at school who have reversed theirs. Here is where the tender points are:http://www.immunesupport.com/fibromyalgia-tenderpoints.htmI'll see if I can find the symptoms list ... it presently resides on my dead CPU. Guest guest
> Here is where the tender points are: > http://www.immunesupport.com/fibromyalgia-tenderpoints.htm ====================================================== What are the Symptoms of Fibromyalgia? While the symptoms associated with Fibromyalgia fluctuate from person to person, there is one common symptom that all agree on - they ache all over. The pain can feel like a deep bone ache, pains and needles, or a stabbing or burning pain. Muscles may feel like they have been pulled or overworked. There are times this pain is mild, others when it is so severe that it becomes unbearable. Along with pain, many Fibromyalgia sufferers report headaches, poor sleep, fatigue, depression, and irregular bowel habits. Many others simply describe their symptoms as " flu-like. " ======================================================== Thank you for that site Kit, but it looks like I don't have many of the above symptoms -- no tender spots, headaches, poor sleep, fatigue, depression etc. I tend to have a sore core -- from around the neck area to belly button area, along with sensitive eyes -- when I don't follow a pure diet. It used to be associated specifically with nicotine and caffeine, but is less specific as I get older. *sigh* I used to get this weird butterfly type rash -- when I'd get the flu or cold, but haven't seen that type rash for a long time now? Thankfully, I'm feeling great and getting better with my new food habits. Now if I can just figure out how to help my daughter with all the small bumps on her face, and her stomach pains. That saliva test in water showed she might have too much candida, so I should try to get her to follow that remedy, but from what I remember, it's cutting down on all sugars for a month -- near impossible for her. Guest guest
I have them all, too...in multiples some days!! I have mostly the Fibro neck BS. I sure hope yours is gone by tomorrow. Got some epsom salts for your bath? Hope you feel better soon, Kathy! Guest guest
Hi Thissal, That's good....the list I was thinking of is very comprehensive. I'll post when I have it. The butterfly rash is one symptom of Lupus...do you ever get it when you go in the sun? Probably, nothing if you no longer get it. Good luck with your daughter, Kit > ======================================================== > Thank you for that site Kit, but it looks like I don't have many of > the above symptoms -- no tender spots, headaches, poor sleep, fatigue, > depression etc. I tend to have a sore core -- from around the neck > area to belly button area, along with sensitive eyes -- when I don't > follow a pure diet.
