May be your juicer.. use a mesh strainer...mine only gives me some pulp when like pears are a bit soft... You're doing good Donna... Not all can do totally raw all at once... take it a step at a time.. the more you eat raw the better you'll feel. You're doing good!

My first day with my juicer was a little weird. I had made a carrot and apple juice (it was what I had in the refrigerator) and didn't care for the pulp that was in it. Not sure if that is my juicer or if all juicers leave some pulp in the juice. I'm hoping to someday soon become accustumed to the not so smooth drink.I ate mostly fruit yesterday. I wasn't going to go out inasmuch as we were in the middle of another nor'easter here. By evening I felt I needed something a little "heavier" in my stomach and I opted for a mini bagel. When I woke this morning my sinuses were stuffy and I had a bit of a headache.I made an energy drink with parlsey and carrots this morning that was wonderful! (Thank you Becky for the recipe!) I grabbed an orange and felt satisfied until now. I'm

not sure I will go raw all at once. I think I will do it in stages so as not to completely shock my system. I got the ebook from the Ekaya Institute this morning and will be reviewing that. I am thinking that I would like to start a journal today to follow this journey.Donna

Thank you for the support Suzi.

I've made note that my face is starting to break out (detoxing??).

That hasn't happend in quite some time. I did find myself wanting

raw food today. I went shopping with a friend who was full of cracks

about me " living off the land " now and wanting very much to go to one

of the local restaurants for lunch. I turned her down for the

lunch. Who knows, tomorrow I may think it is a good idea. Today it

didn't feel right.

Drank lots of water but didn't feel the need to urinate like I

usually do. Missed the grocery store this evening by minutes before

it closed so I'll have to check to see what I have here for breakfast

tomorrow morning. Once I get to work I can walk to the local HFS for

fruits and vegetables.

I'm exhausted. I actually began feeling tired around 2 p.m. but felt

as though I were going to fall asleep on the way home. . . part of

the detox?

Ya know something.. I have been reading the "left Behind Series" well..done now.. and it is about the End times....knowing HOW to live off the land may save us when the end times come... those that know how to survive with raw food, wildcrafters, and herbalists... I want to learn sooo much... if for nothing else for survival....sounds like we will need it if the Bible is true and that series is any sign of what is to come....not meaning to get religous here.. just stating a fact....

It is interesting that you should bring this up because this was on

our local news this afternoon:

The link is only sent as an FYI. I take no position with respect to

its content.
