Guest guest
, PLEASE please please looking into Donna Gate's Book, The Body Ecolgy Diet, and Cousen's book, Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine. These two books will give you all you need information wise, menu/recipe wise to help bring your body back to balance and enjoy yourself while you are doing it. And both books clearly list foods you should and should not eat and for how long. Cousen's book actually takes you through phases where after a little time you can add more foods. The idea is that you do not want food to ferment in your body and you do not want to feed candida albicans. When you read this books they really help to give you an idea of what is going on in our bodies. I had done a lot of research and reading on this subject before I came upon these books and have found them to be the ones that do the best job in clearly explaining the process. These are the two books I share with everyone because they offer great info. and have been great resources with amazing results for myself and so many people close to me. *These are the things that have helped me: I do NOT consume any flour, sugar or high glycemic foods. I do not eat very many grains, but when I do they are sprouted grains and I limit them to quinoa and buckwheat. (I wouldn't eat grains in the beginning while you are first killing off the bad guys; you don't want to give them anythings extra to live off of.) I limit my servings of fruit to berries and I only have one serving in the morning (you need to eliminate sugar to starve candida albicans so berries shouldn't be in the picture until after a few months.) I use stevia for sweetness. I prefer Sweetleaf Clear Liquid stevia preserved in H20 and GSE. Raw Almonds soaked for 24 hours. Raw Seeds like pumpkin soaked. I take probiotics AND I eat cultured vegetables (not regular sour kraut but tastes like saurekraut) with my lunch and dinner. Cultured vegis are filled with beneficial bacteria and help neutralize the acidity from consuming animal products. Fresh oils like hemp seed, flax and fish. I take enzymes at every meal. I limit my coffee consumption to one cup a day ( I did not drink coffee in the beginning, but now I can.) My servings of green leafy vegetables are always much greater than my servings of protein. This offsets the acidity. Acidity is what leads to illness. Cousen's book explains this very well. Check the books out. By reading both you will be able to find the right balance that works for you.
