I have a question... Are strawberry plant leaves bad for cats? I just started some window boxes and had three strawberry plants to put in one... while i was filling up the other one with my lavender , rosemary and chamomile.. my two bad little kitties were up on the counter munching away on the leaves... these two kitties never eat anything but dry cat food.. not even people food... and here i bring these baby plants in and they want to eat them.. I was looking for wheat grass for them but couldn't find any today....

I have been giving them herbed catnip... they love it... but my little fella loves greens... I was planting them in my flower box and he was helping..lol These babies have some flowers already on them so I am glad he didn't eat those... Janet Seidlitz <dragonhealing@...> wrote:

ROTFL, no they should be fine. Strawberry leaves are edible. Get them a catnip toy or something and keep the plants away from them so you can actually grow the strawberries lol.
