Guest guest
hi peace, the meniscus on the inside of my right knee tore (3.1/2 years ago). it was bothering me for a while and i didn't know it was partly through. at work my knee would lock up and had to manually pull my leg out and then i could walk again. later i kicked a piece of plastic cover aside, not weighing a pound, but the movement made my knee stick out sideways ........ and had to crawl to the phone for help. this was a different pain and i couldn't get it back to normal. after the operation,(fixed it instead of removing) it took me a good half a year to walk again and had a limp for almost 2 year. i got used to things this way and it started to get better, until last year when i got to aggressive with my knee and ripped it again, same as before. now i know how to undo the locked up knee, if that happens, but i'm very careful not to have it pop. i haven't had a problem for months now, but squating is out of the question, since that will pull the piece of meniscus between my kneecap en my upper and lower legbones. like a pencil between the door, it won't shut. i run and walk and have no problems. it is starting to feel more solid, but that migt be becaue i haven't injured it for a while. an operation is my last resort, first i want to try this and i can live with it this way. we'll have to see how things are in the future. thanks, rik > Peace, > > sorry for being late to this thread, but what exactly was the knee problem that you had Rik, and where are the comfrey leaves comin' from.??>> > i only ask because, i had ACL surgery two years back, and i'm still looking to do all i can to help gain strength back, as well as changing my diet around to maybe assist in that process. > > PEACE > Natural Game
