two things come to my memory with this.

My stepfather sprinking in cheerios and playing sink

the ships with my little brother. (Didn't get to see

it, but heard all about it from mom.)

Mom having my brother who was two-ish and my twin

sisters (surprise, almost exactly ten months younger)

all in the hallway outside the bathroom on three potty

chairs.

Who ever peed, got a treat. She used MM's... since we

were NEVER allowed candy, it worked fast! She would

pop one into the mouth of the rewarded child... by the

end of the day she had them all peeing on command like

Pavlov's dogs.

The next week it was pooping and they got a tootsie

roll once they had washed their hands. (LOL!)

Now my daughter was an only child. At a very early

age she was lifting her legs to help me change her

diaper. When she was about 11 months, she would

wiggle out of her diaper and bring a fresh one

(sometimes come, extra pins in hand!)

By 16 months she was putting them into her rubber

panties and then sitting down and wiggling into them

(I wish I had a picture... it would all be bunched up

giving her a bumblebee butt...)

Kid couldn't stand dirty panties for even a minute and

hated clothes. My problem was getting her to stay in

them once she figured out if she used a toilet, she

didn't need diapers... plus she was so tiny (mom mom

was 5 foot, and his mom was 4'10 " ) it was hard finding

her panties.

It would always freak out folks who would she her do

things cause she was so much smaller then the

neighboring family's children, whose parents were 5'

10 " and 6'4 " Made her day to be able to out climb

them and be more agile...
