Guest guest
Since this link is kinda long, I decided to also copy in the contents here. There are other sources of potassium besides bananas, so eat healthy! Enjoy your food and get your vitamins! Guest guest
shouldn't you be monitored while on K? it's not something i'd take without being monitored - pretty sure Bob had a story about K on here ? Chris > > Hi - I take slow-release potassium tabs (1 20meq tab a day) which I get from IP. However I've just been onto their website to stock up and the price has gone up yet again - this time not by a few pounds but by £13!! Guest guest
Hi - I've been on magnesium for years (low RBC levels) and have had problems in the past with that rather than the potassium. Mag injections somehow were too strong and seemed to have a cumulative effect weeks after having them and despite being monitored so I switched myself over to tabs and then powder and have been ok since - I go by symptoms. Potassium helps with various things - if anything I would say I have trouble keeping levels up through excessive excretion as with the magnesium but I keep to the lowest dose I can without inducing symptoms - if I drop down to half a tab problems reappear so I wouldn't say I'm overdoing it. It's hard balancing sodium and potassium and keeping levels of both of them up, but I appreciate your concern. > > > > Hi - I take slow-release potassium tabs (1 20meq tab a day) which I get from IP.
