Number one, what is her life style like? Are you also leaving out the part that your daughter has been getting a good balance of rest and exersize while abstaining from eating junk foods and drinking junk beverages? > Her dr said she passed a kidney stone, but of course should > take antibiotics again (as a generic response to any problem?). > I don't think any infection has even been confirmed yet this time. If an infection is confirmed she has the option of taking a pharmaceutical antibiotic that specifically addresses that bacteria or an herbal antibiotic. An herbal antibiotic might have a larger range of bacteria that it addresses (if it addresses the one in question) but it might not work as fast as the pharmaceutical variety. Herbal assistance might have negative side effects of its own if taken in the quantities and length of time needed to be effective. If your daughter has been living a life promoting lifestyle these past months and this hit her out of no where, there is a chance that it might be that her body has healed enough that the kidney stone episode is part of the body's own attempt to correct long standing toxicity. But if your daughter has been eating junk foods et cetera, what are the chances of you getting compliance to a healthier way of life while she's not feeling well or after she is feeling better? I hear a kidney stone can be more painful than giving birth. Good luck with this adventure. I hope the rest of it is less painful. " ================================= Hi J, Not cipro!!!! OMG that stuff wreaks havoc on people. There are groups dedicated to those who have taken cipro and suffered massively. Losing themselves, their families, their jobs, their everything. This is one of the most toxic pharmaceutical poisons out there. It is known as a fluoroquinolone, a very powerful broad spectrum antibiotic that literally screws up peoples lives big time. This is one drug that should definitely be banned period. It is true that bacteria, viruses and funguses are not the problem. They are part of the solution. They are natures trash collectors, so to speak. They are there to clean up the mess we make through our decisions in diet and lifestyles. Do the research on this one. Don't let her take it or any other anti-biotic. -- Peace be with you, J.
