Hi Don,

Well I added more Fig syrup along with water and more glycerine.. I

had to add ALOT more.. hehehee.. I guess I know I had better watch

out when working with Slippery elm.. I ended up having to adding 56

ozs of liquid and 16 ozs of glycerine to get it to thin out.. Now I'm

looking forward to the out come.. I do hope it comes out good.. I

ended up having to use a lot of water and hope it did not take away

from the sweetness of the figs and prunes.. It made 5 quart jars.. I

think I will have plenty to last... How long do you think it will

keep? I know glycerine isn't suppose to last as long as alc.

tinctures.

I did write it all down so I will not have to go through this again

and next time I will make a much smaller batch.. :-)) But it is

always fun trying new recipes and learning in the process..

Shalom
